FRANKLIN
False reports to police: Kaylene Faye Cameron, 35, of Cameron, W.Va., was charged with making a false report to law enforcement Thursday because of statements she allegedly made to state police May 20. Police said Cameron brought her work vehicle, owned by Greene Arc, to the Waynesburg state police barracks to report a hit-and-run in a parking lot of a Franklin Township business. Cameron said there was damage to the front end of the vehicle that was not there when she and a client entered the store. According to police, further investigation showed the damage did not occur in the parking lot, but Cameron had crashed her car into a pole in Waynesburg.
