State Rep. Jason Ortitay, R-Cecil, is hosting his third annual flag retirement ceremony July 7.

The ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. at Cecil American Legion Post 793, 3323 Millers Run Road, Cecil, and is open to the public.

The event was originally scheduled for June, but was postponed due to lightning and rain.

For those not able to attend, a flag drop-off box has been placed outside the American Legion building. For more information, call Ortitay’s office at 412-221-5110.
