Police: Naked man arrested in Roscoe

Noah Shriver
ROSCOE – A Virginia man was arrested Thursday morning after he walked naked around Roscoe and neighboring Elco, court documents allege.
Roscoe, Elco, Stockdale and Allenport Regional police also accused Noah Mark Shriver of stashing a backpack containing a large amount of marijuana near a ballfield before he was arrested about 11 a.m.
Police said the backpack also held Shriver’s birth certificate and Social Security card. The marijuana had been separated and wrapped for sale, police allege in court documents.
Shriver, 19, of Winchester, was clothed when he appeared for arraignment in the case before District Judge Larry Hopkins. He made no comments, a court official said.
Hopkins ordered Shriver to undergo a mental health evaluation as part of the terms of his $25,000 bond.
He was sent to Washington County jail on charges of indecent exposure, open lewdness, drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
