CANONSBURG

Man assaulted: Christopher Horner, 44, of Houston, was assaulted early Friday in the parking lot of The Last Call, 342 W. Pike St., Canonsburg police said. He reportedly had been asked to leave by the bartender, and when he went outside, was assaulted by four men. Horner was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment. Horner’s wife told police $200 was stolen from his wallet. Police are continuing their investigation.

WASHINGTON

Man robbed: Bertram Mitchell told Washington police he was robbed by three men who entered his East Hallam Avenue home about 1:20 a.m. Friday. He told police he was hit in the back of his head with a small pistol. The three men reportedly stole $800 and his laptop computer before fleeing in a small, dark car. He told police he believed a man who had been staying with him set him up.

Burglary attempt: An exhaust fan, door and window at the rear of Tower Restaurant, 680 W. Chestnut St., were damaged in an apparent break-in attempt early Thursday.

Harassment alleged: Charles L. Cole, 52, who Washington police said is homeless, was charged with harassment after he allegedly grabbed Monica Hoberek, 37, of Washington, by the throat during a confrontation Thursday in Alley A.

Driver faces charges: Sue Sadowski, 58, of 10 1/2 Second St., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with driving under the influence of alcohol after she allegedly crashed her vehicle into a utility pole in the 300 block of Tyler Avenue about 6 a.m. Friday. Police said she failed field sobriety tests and refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test.
