CECIL
Assault arrest: David H. Zgoreliski, 50, of 22 Raven Drive, Cecil, was arrested Wednesday night by Cecil police on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct after he allegedly punched a 51-year-old man during a confrontation at Zgoreliski’s home. The alleged victim, who police say was intoxicated, was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment. Zgoreliski was arraigned before District Judge Jesse Pettit and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.
DUI charges: Michael Dileo, 32, of 240 N. Central Ave., Canonsburg, was charged by Cecil police with driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting arrest and a stop sign violation stemming from a traffic stop early Sunday on Route 980 at Route 50. Police pulled him over after he reportedly failed to stop for a stop sign. Police said Dileo refused to cooperate as officers tried to place him in handcuffs. His blood-alcohol content exceeded the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed, police said. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Traci McDonald.
CHARTIERS
Assault charge: State police will obtain an arrest warrant for Alberto Zambrana Moss, 24, of Westland, after he allegedly assaulted a woman in a vehicle in the 500 block of Western Avenue just after midnight Thursday. Police said Moss and Shaelynn Saunoras, 25, of Canonsburg, began arguing, and he allegedly pushed her head into a car window and hit her several times. Saunoras was placed in Washington County jail on a parole violation.
MONESSEN
Drug charge: Jamie R. Webb-Irwin, 40, of 408 Jones St., Rostraver Township, is charged by state police with drug possession with intent to deliver, court records show. Police accuse her of obtaining a legal prescription for pain medication, including oxycodone, and then selling the pills to an unnamed individual at various locations in the Monessen area between 2014 and 2016. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charge Thursday in a summons.
MONONGAHELA
Man charged: Danny Alan Lutz, 52, of 110 Chess St., New Eagle, is charged by Monongahela police with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, tampering with evidence and obstruction of the administration of law, court records show. Police accuse him of attempting to hide the drug and struggling with an officer who approached him about 10:15 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Chess Street. District Judge Curtis Thompson issued the charge by summons Monday.
NORTH STRABANE
Theft charge: Jacqueline A. Renta, 42, of 543 Koehler Ave., Donora, was charged this week by North Strabane police with theft and theft by deception. She is accused of taking money to purchase filters for an electronic cigarette for a patient at Greenery Rehabilitation, 2200 Route 519, Feb. 14 but never returning with the money or filters. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Endangerment, stalking charges: Edward John Black Jr., 46, of 106 Kidder Lane, Canonsburg, was charged by North Strabane police Monday with stalking, reckless endangerment, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. He is accused of deliberately steering his vehicle in the direction of a neighbor who was outside with his dog last September. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
ROSTRAVER

SOUTH STRABANE
Charged in theft: Brooke Lowery, 32, of 137 North Ave., Washington, was charged this week by South Strabane police with theft after she allegedly stole $473.13 from Waffle House, 255 Murtland Ave., while working as a waitress Saturday. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Gift card stolen: Shaylynn Chianne Dean, 19, of 503 Washington St., Bentleyville, was charged this week by South Strabane police with theft and receiving stolen property. She is accused of loading a gift card with $141 and then stealing it from Walmart, Trinity Point, Feb. 21. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Two charged: Judith A. Patton, 57, and Leigh Ann Cecchine, 43, both of 450 E. Prospect Ave., Washington, were charged this week by South Strabane police with retail theft after they allegedly stole items valued at $312 from Kohl’s, Strabane Square, Feb. 6. Patton also is charged with driving with a suspended license. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Cellphone stolen: Chris Hirsh of Chartiers Township told South Strabane police Tuesday his cellphone was stolen while he was at Walmart, Trinity Point.
WASHINGTON
Driver confronted: An Amwell Township man told Washington police Wednesday he was confronted by a passenger of a vehicle in front of his that was stopped at a stop sign on Murtland Avenue at Locust Avenue. The passenger in a black Chevrolet Cruze with West Virginia plates got out of the car and ran back to the man’s vehicle with a small knife and threatened to stab him if the Amwell man continued to follow their car. The passenger got back inside, and the car left the area.
Cellphone stolen: Amanda Parrish of 375 Jefferson Ave. told Washington police Wednesday her cellphone was stolen from her home.
