Man injured in South Strabane motorcycle crash dies
A Washington man injured in a motorcycle crash last week in South Strabane Township died over the weekend in a Pittsburgh hospital.
David Woodhouse Jr., 37, was pronounced dead Saturday afternoon at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh of injuries to his head and trunk, according the Allegheny County medical examiner’s office.
Police said Woodhouse was going west on Route 40 near Kopper Kettle Road on Feb. 28 when his motorcycle went off the right berm, hit a guardrail and went airborne, landing in a ravine. Crews had to carry him up a steep hill to an ambulance.
