No one hurt in Canonsburg house fire

No one was injured in a house fire at 405 Blaine Ave. in Canonsburg that started about 1 p.m. Friday.
The fire, of undetermined origin, was centered in the rear of the structure, on the second floor. It was contained within an hour.
The house has been divided into two apartments, and two residents were displaced, according to Alex Coghill, chief of Canonsburg police. The American Red Cross was called to assist residents.

No pets were injured in the blaze, Coghill added. No damage estimate was immediately available.
Canonsburg Volunteer Fire Department was assisted at the scene by fire companies from Houston and Cecil, and Peters and North Strabane townships. A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause.
