Contraband charge: Sashaun S. Townsend, 22, of Canton, Ga., was charged Wednesday with felony counts of conspiracy, delivering contraband and criminal use of a communication facility after a state Department of Corrections investigator said he delivered drugs to an inmate at SCI-Greene prison Nov. 20, 2016.

Yard equipment stolen: A lawn mower, weed trimmer and gas can were stolen from a shed in Jefferson Estates in Morgan Township between April 27 and May 1, state police said.
