Waynesburg University celebrated the graduation of more than 400 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students Sunday. David Barensfeld, president and CEO of Ellwood Group Inc., delivered the commencement address while the Rev. Stuart Broberg, senior pastor of The Church of the Covenant in Washington and a longtime Waynesburg University trustee, delivered the baccalaureate address. The valedictorians were Tara Barnard, Rachel Eng, Sydney Flick and R.J. Leon, who addressed the graduates. Thomas DeGeorge, who received a doctorate of philosophy in counselor education and supervision, represented the graduate and professional studies students.
