California University of Pennsylvania held its 186th commencement Friday and Saturday. More than 1,200 students received associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in two ceremonies in the Convocation Center arena. University President Geraldine M. Jones conferred the degrees, and Larry Maggi, a 1979 Cal U. graduate and Washington County commissioner, was commencement speaker.
