CANONSBURG

Husband arrested: Jesse McMasters Sr., 27, of 712 Frederick Court, Canonsburg, was arrested Thursday on a warrant obtained by Canonsburg police after he allegedly assaulted his wife May 2. He is accused of body-slamming her while holding a steak knife. The two reportedly got into a confrontation after they had been at a Canton Township bar. McMasters was arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment. He was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Theft alleged: Clark C. Campbell, 34, of 347 E. Pike St., Houston, was charged last week by Canonsburg police with felony retail theft after he allegedly stole items from Dollar General, 145 Adams Ave., March 3. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Driver identified: Canonsburg police have identified the driver of a motorcycle involved in a crash Thursday afternoon on Morganza Road near Cavasina Drive as Genni Hippert, 36, of North Jefferson Avenue, Canonsburg. She was taken to Canonsburg Hospital before being transferred to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Two charged: Canonsburg police charged Nicholas Retos, 33, of 409 N. Wade Ave., East Washington, and Joshua Fassinger, 18, of 149 DiCio St., North Strabane Township, with possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from separate incidents last month. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

EAST WASHINGTON

Theft, fraud charges: Laura Vincenti, 44, of 166 S. Wade Ave., Washington, was charged this week by East Washington police with access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing a prepaid credit card from a man’s home on North Avenue and using it to make several purchases. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

NORTH BELLE VERNON

Man wanted: Douglas Gray, 34, of Union Township, is charged by borough police with escape, flight to avoid apprehension, obstruction, loitering and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse him of running on foot from a traffic stop at about 12:30 a.m. May 2, when there were warrants for his arrest in Washington and Westmoreland counties. District Judge Charles Christner signed another warrant Wednesday for Gray’s arrest.

NORTH STRABANE

Strangulation alleged: Joseph Kolba, 70, of 493 Linden Road, North Strabane, was arrested Thursday afternoon by township police on charges of strangulation and aggravated assault after he allegedly choked his wife, hit her in the face and broke her eyeglasses during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Drug arrest: John Alex Lisenby, 24, of 1041 Arch St., rear, Washington, was arrested Thursday night by North Strabane police on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Police were on foot patrol in the Burkett Place apartment complex after getting complaints of suspected drug activity. Police said they could smell marijuana coming from one apartment. Lisenby was inside the apartment, and police said he had a backpack that contained suspected marijuana and more than $2,000. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on his own recognizance.

Weapons charge: Ryan Urwin, 34, of 415 Walnut St., Donora, was charged this week by North Strabane police with carrying a firearm without a license and speeding stemming from a May 1 traffic stop on Route 519. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

SOUTH STRABANE

Charged in theft: Jennifer L. Clark, 40, of Pinellas Park, Fla., was charged this week by South Strabane police with theft by deception and forgery after she allegedly stole $29,726.50 from Wright Traffic Control, 1150 Washington Road, while employed as an office manager. She is accused of cashing paychecks for a woman who was hired by the company but never worked for it after declining to take the position. Clark is scheduled to return to Washington for arraignment before District Judge Jay Weller.

Assault charge: Nathaniel K. Griffin Jr., 25, of 203 Lincoln Ave., Canonsburg, was charged this week by South Strabane police with simple assault and disorderly conduct after he allegedly punched a man, breaking his jaw, during an April 16 confrontation at Pancake Inn, 1727 E. Maiden St. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft charge: Ryan M. Robison, 34, of 121 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, was charged this week by South Strabane police with retail theft and driving with a suspended license after he allegedly stole items valued at $438.99 from Target, Strabane Square, May 1. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Indecent exposure: A 26-year-old Uniontown woman told South Strabane police a man exposed himself to her as they drove on Washington Road about 8 p.m. Thursday. She said the man appeared to be in his 30s, had a medium complexion, a goatee and wore a white ball cap. She told police he followed her before he turned into the Waffle House lot.

WASHINGTON

Window broken: Enrique Lithgow of Duncan Avenue told Washington police Thursday a vandal threw a rock through a window he had just installed at his home.

Items stolen: Toni Dillard of Washington told Washington police Thursday her belongings, including clothing, a safe, watch and jewelry, were stolen from her storage unit at Guardian Self Storage, 840 Jefferson Ave.

Woman assaulted: A 35-year-old woman told Washington police she was hit by a brick thrown at her by a 28-year-old man outside her Addison Street home Thursday. She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. Charges are pending.
