Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:
Brandi Mae Knisely, 34, 584 Fraction Road, West Finley; simple assault; charged Aug. 25, 2016; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution, 50 hours of community service and no contact with the victim.
Martin Anthony Moye, 32, 190 Jollick Manor, Washington; simple assault, retail theft and conspiracy to commit theft by deception; charged Sept. 5, 2016, and March 25, 2017; sentence – 12 months of probation and no contact with the victim and Walmart.
Mark Rice, 46, 200 Fisher Hollow Road, Amity; harassment; charged Oct. 25, 2016; sentence – 12 months of probation and no contact with the victim.
Michael Shane Cook, 52, 102 Noblestown Road, Apt. 3, Midway; simple assault and criminal mischief; charged May 28, 2017; sentence – 23 months in the intermediate punishment program and six months on electronic home monitoring.
Michael Eugene Teets, 29, 11 Arlene Drive, Normalville; simple possession; charged March 30, 2017; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Phillip Stahlman, 40, 540 Washington Ave., Charleroi; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Oct. 2, 2017; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Venice Lashelle Williams, 38, 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington; two counts of theft by deception; charged Oct. 14 and Nov. 4; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and no contact with Walmart.
Eric Michael Yanov, 35, 352 Johnston Road, Bentleyville; retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Feb. 1; sentence – 49 days to 23 months in jail and 12 months of probation.
The following recently appeared in Washington County Court for first offenses of driving under the influence and were admitted to the Accelereated Rehabilitative Disposition program.
