BENTLEYVILLE

Bond revoked: George M. Macotta, 35, of 1010 Old West Road, Bentleyville, was returned to Washington County jail late Tuesday after he allegedly violated the terms of his bond by contacting a woman he is accused of assaulting Monday afternoon. He had been released earlier in the day on $20,000 bond.

CALIFORNIA

Charged three times: Jason Nathaniel Perry, 33, of California, faces three counts of misdemeanor retail theft after he allegedly stole items from Dollar General, 201 Wood St., three times in less than four hours, California police said.

Trespass charge: Christopher M. Heffner, 40, of Coal Center, will be charged with criminal trespass after he allegedly went onto a neighbor’s property. The neighbor told police Heffner habitually violates property lines.

CANTON

Assault arrest: Harold Yansey Conklin, 39, of 58 Griffith Ave., Canton, was arrested Tuesday night by state police on charges of simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted his wife during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

CECIL

Charged in chase: DeShawn L. Little, 22, of 79 Campbell Ave., Cuddy, was arrested Tuesday night by Cecil police after he allegedly fled as an officer attempted to stop him for a registration violation, then crashed his vehicle on Baker Road. Police said they tried to stop Little in the village of Lawrence but terminated the pursuit when speeds reached 80 mph on Georgetown Road. Police later received a report of the crash, but the driver fled. They said Little was found at his home by South Fayette Township police. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude police, leaving the scene of a crash, driving with a suspended license and several traffic violations. Little was released from Washington County jail after posting $25,000 bond.

MONESSEN

Woman charged: Kellie Marie Rush, 20, of 8 Huston St., Monessen, is charged by city police with identity theft and giving an officer false identification stemming from a traffic stop about 3:15 p.m. May 17 at Eastgate Avenue and Rebecca Street, court records show. Monessen District Court issued the charges in a summons Tuesday.

DUI alleged in crash: Timothy David Henry, 26, of 1231 Graham Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with being involved in an accident involving damage to unattended property and driving under the influence of alcohol, court records show. Police said Henry’s vehicle struck a utility pole about 10:30 p.m. April 25 at Marion Avenue and Grand Boulevard. Police said they later found him at his residence, and he went to Mon Valley Hospital for treatment of an injury to his face. Monessen District Court issued the charges in a summons Tuesday.

MONONGAHELA

Drug arrest: Kimberly Ann Lucy, 48, of Bunola, was arrested early Wednesday on a warrant obtained by a trooper with the state police vice unit charging her with possession and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. She allegedly sold oxymorphone pills to a confidential informant in a parking lot of a Main Street business in September 2016. She was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

NORTH FRANKLIN

Two charged in theft: Vincent F. Catlin, 30, and Lindsay Dawn Pople, 25, both of Washington, were charged Wednesday by North Franklin police with retail theft and conspiracy for allegedly stealing items valued at almost $600 from Rural King, Washington Crown Center, April 28. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

NOTTINGHAM

Saws stolen: George Rostasky of 280 Mingo Church Road, Nottingham, told state police May 7 t two Stihl chainsaws were stolen from his property. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.

ROSTRAVER

Man wanted: Jamarious Plater, 29, of 704 Liberty Ave., Charleroi, is charged by township police with theft over accusations he leased electronics and furniture valued at $3,265 from Aaron’s, 170 Sara Way, on April 2 and failed to make payments, court records show. Monessen District Court issued a warrant Monday for his arrest.

WASHINGTON

Two charged: Alejandro Bocanegra, 42, of Washington, and Amy Cornell, 43, of Avella, were charged Wednesday by Washington police with violating the law on lending or giving firearms. Bocanegra also was charged with theft of a gun and carrying a firearm without a license. Cornell allegedly gave a handgun to Bocanegra as collateral toward a $1,000 loan. The owner of the gun told police she never gave Cornell nor Bocanegra permission to take possession of the gun. Bocanegra allegedly told police he gave the gun to a co-worker in West Virginia. The gun has not been located. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

DUI alleged in crash: Jon E. Greer of Washington will be charged by Washington police with DUI after he reportedly crashed his vehicle into a parked truck on West Hallam Avenue early Wednesday. Police said he then got out of his truck and was spotted staggering in the direction of Washington High School. He was found a few blocks away. Police said Greer’s blood-alcohol content was triple the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed.

Cellphone stolen: Clarence Marino of Washington told Washington police Tuesday his son’s iPhone was stolen from the Seventh Ward playground at 400 Donnan Ave.

Toys stolen: Tammy Noble told Washington police Tuesday her children’s toys were stolen from the yard of her Maple Terrace home.

Woman assaulted, robbed: Linda McLaughlin of Meadow Lands told Washington police Tuesday she was assaulted and robbed while she was in the 800 block of Meadow Avenue. She said she was counting money on the side of the street when a silver vehicle pulled next to her. She said a man, whom she was able to identify to police, got out and ran around the front of the vehicle, knocked her to the ground and stole $180. He then ran toward Jefferson Avenue, where the car was waiting, she said. Police plan to obtain a warrant for the suspect’s arrest.

Graffiti painted: Ross Miller of Washington told Washington police Tuesday a house he owns at 108 Hall Ave. was entered and graffiti was painted on the walls and windows.
