Business burglarized: The owner of Meadow Lands Auto Sales, 120 W. Pike St., told Chartiers police Saturday a safe containing cash and checks was stolen when the business was burglarized.

Chain-reaction crash: No one was injured Monday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on Prosperity Pike near Potato Lane, Morris, but all three drivers will be cited. Dustin Reed, 20, of Buckhannon, W.Va., will be cited for following too closely; Steve Reel, 29, of Clarksburg, W.Va., will be cited for driving with a suspended license; and Donald Gorbey, 22, of Mt. Airy, Md., will be cited for not wearing a seat belt.

Skimmer used: Three Washington residents told Washington police Monday their account information was compromised after a “card skimmer” was used at a Community Bank automated teller machine on West Chestnut Street. All three had money withdrawn from their accounts at a bank on Brookline Boulevard in Pittsburgh. One of the three also had his card information used in Riverdale, N.Y.
Faces charges: Elijah Gordon, 21, of 335 Burton Ave., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident at Fifty Yard Line bar, 105 Henderson Ave. He was reportedly asked to leave after causing a disturbance. He also allegedly broke a mirror behind the bar.
W. BROWNSVILLE
Theft arrest: Jamie Lee Morriston, 41, of 317 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, was arrested Friday by state police on charges of theft, retail theft, criminal trespass and harassment. She is accused of stealing items valued at almost $750 from Walmart, Daniel Kendall Drive, West Brownsville, and then grabbing the arm of an employee when he stopped her. She also had been banned from the store. She was arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
