Truck stolen: Gary Andrew Danforth, 37, of 744 Crucible Road, Rices Landing, was charged Tuesday with theft, receiving stolen property and driving on a suspended license after Cumberland Township police said he took a dump truck without the owner’s permission Oct. 14. Police said they located the truck five days later on private property on Harts Road in the township.

Theft charges: Jessica Meranda Lee, 38, of Fairmont, W.Va., was charged Oct. 31 with two counts of theft after state police said she and another woman stole a handgun and $75 from a man while he was home at 529 Bobtown Road in Dunkard Township on Jan. 2.

Liquor law violation: The operator of Dry Tavern Distributor, 999 N. Eighty-eight Road, was cited last week by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for selling alcohol to a 19-year-old minor on Oct. 1.
