FRANKLIN

Water tanker crash: The driver of a water tanker escaped injury Friday night when his truck overturned in Franklin Township. Wilbert J. Burnsworth, 45, of Connellsville, was driving east on Route 21 near Barton Hollow Road about 10:30 p.m. when state police said he struck a bridge guardrail and the rig rolled over an embankment. Police said the tanker came to a rest on its left side.
