Theft charges: Michael A. Braun, 35, of 108-D N. Market St., Carmichaels and Steven S. Williams II, 34, of 1012 Toms Run Road, Holbrook, were arrested Friday and charged in connection with the theft of power tools from a construction site on Murtha Drive. About 15 minutes after the theft was reported at 8 a.m. Friday, Braun’s car was stopped by state police and tools fitting the description of those stolen from the construction site were observed inside, state police said. Both men were charged with theft and receiving stolen property. Williams, allegedly found in possession of hypodermic needles and empty stamp bags, also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
