CALIFORNIA

Alarms reported: California police will charge Hampton Inn, Technology Drive, and Z&M Rentals, 131 Wood St., for having an excessive number of false alarms in recent months.

Disorderly house: Chantel Searcy, 21, of Edinburg, Lawrence County, will be cited by California police for violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance after she allegedly hosted a loud party Oct. 28.

CECIL

Resisting, prowling arrest: Norman Staub, 37, of 16 Maple St., Muse, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant obtained by Cecil police charging him with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and loitering or prowling at night stemming from an Oct. 26 incident at Walnut Street and Muse-Bishop Road. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

CANONSBURG

Counterfeit money: A manager at McDonald’s, 100 Bobby Vinton Boulevard, told Canonsburg police Tuesday a counterfeit $100 bill was recently passed at the restaurant.

CARROLL

Threat charges: Terry Hare, 51, of Merritstown, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by Carroll police on charges of making terroristic threats and harassment after he allegedly made threats to staff at Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on his own recognizance.

CHARLEROI

Men charged: Erik Sean-Michael Spaziani, 23, and, Christopher Lee Roberts, 30, both of Charleroi, are charged with trespassing and harassment stemming from a disturbance about 4:15 p.m. Nov. 8 at 915 McKean Ave., court records show. Spaziani also is charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct over allegations he pulled Gerald Hefley Jr. down five stairs. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges by summons Tuesday.

Man jailed: Stanley Sheriff, 24, of 708 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with trespassing and disorderly conduct for allegedly going into Perked Up Cafe, 530 McKean Ave., about 4:30 p.m. Monday after being repeatedly told he was not welcome at the business, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins placed him in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

NORTH BELLE VERNON

Assault alleged: Vernon Majors, 41, of 300 Indiana Ave., Monessen, is charged by borough police with simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Majors of striking Nichole Briggs in the head, causing her to fall onto the street outside a bar in the 500 block of Broad Avenue about 1 a.m. Oct. 7. Briggs sought treatment at Mon Valley Hospital. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charges Tuesday in a summons.

Thefts alleged: Thomas David Steiner, 46, of 901 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, is charged by state police with three counts of theft and one count of harassment, court records show. Police accuse him of stealing cellphones belonging to Nelson Simmons and Jennifer Bandalo Sunday at a residence in the 600 block of Graham Street. Simmons accused Steiner of grabbing him by the neck. Steiner also is accused of stealing the keys to Bandalo’s vehicle before he fled. District Judge Charles Christner signed a warrant Tuesday for Steiner’s arrest.

PETERS

Charged with theft: Maurice Ronald Garrison III of Weirton, W.Va., was arrested on a warrant obtained by Peters police charging him with receiving stolen property, theft, criminal mischief and driving under suspension after he allegedly was found with a truck-tractor that had been reported stolen in January in Hanover Township. Stolen from the truck were several items, including a citizens band radio, clothing and a necklace. The truck also was damaged. Garrison was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Jesse Pettit and placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.

Unauthorized use: Morris Hundley, 51, of Monroeville, was charged Tuesday by Peters police with unauthorized use of a vehicle after he allegedly failed to return a rental vehicle to Spitzer Acura, 3617 Washington Road, earlier this month. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jesse Pettit.

Theft charge: Rachel Catherine Radke, 29, of 378 Center Church Road, McMurray, was charged Tuesday by Peters police with theft after she allegedly stole money from night deposits while working as a manager at Jiffy Lube, 2869 Washington Road, last month. She allegedly stole $293.24. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jesse Pettit.

WASHINGTON

Tires stolen: Mary Maiza of 128 Hall Ave. told Washington police Tuesday tires were stolen from her vehicle.

Stove stolen: Tom Danley of 375 Locust Ave. told Washington police Tuesday a stove was stolen from his house.
