MONONGAHELA – A Monongahela man is wanted on charges he injured two people with a knife Saturday at a residence where he had lived.

District Judge Mark Wilson signed a warrant Monday for the arrest of Micha Cain Osborne, 35, in the domestic violence incident just before midnight at 614 Sheridan St., court records show.

Monongahela police said one of the victims, Lauren Powell, told them she and Osborne had been involved in an earlier incident that drew state police to a bar in Fallowfield Township. She said a trooper told Osborne to stay away from her and her residence, police noted in the affidavit.

Several hours later, Osborne allegedly showed up at her residence, entered through the garage and shoved her to the dining room floor.

She said Osborne went back the the garage to retrieve a knife from Christopher Powell’s truck and then dragged the weapon across the vehicle. He also is accused of causing more than $1,000 in damage to the truck and residence.

Lauren Powell said Osborne then turned the knife on Christopher Powell, cutting him across his head. She said Osborne held the knife to her neck when she got between the two men, court records allege.

She suffered a broken right hand, a large cut across her forearm and red marks on her neck, police stated in the affidavit. Christopher Powell also was treated for his injuries at Mon Valley Hospital.

Police went to the bar on Coyle Curtain Road after receiving a tip Osborne was living in a camper behind the building, but it was empty. An officer also searched the area around 614 Sheridan with a police canine, but the suspect was not found.

Osborne is facing charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
