HANOVER

Unauthorized use of vehicle charge: Bruce James Ramsey, 36, of Burgettstown, was charged by Hanover Township police with unauthorized use of a vehicle after he allegedly took a relative’s truck that was parked on Colwell Street Oct. 4. The relative told police Ramsey did not have permission to use the truck.

MONONGAHELA

Threat against officer alleged: Christopher Patrick O’Brien Jr., 23, of 617 Lincoln St., Monongahela, is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and making terroristic threats stemming from a traffic stop about 2:20 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of West Main Street, court records show. He is accused of threatening to kill Monongahela Officer Lawrence Maraldo before he was released from a holding cell after sobering up, police allege. District Judge Mark Wilson issued the charges Monday in a summons.

ROSTRAVER

Warrant signed: Anzalone Jones, 62, of 9 Kings Way, Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with DUI and aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, court records show. Police accuse him of causing a collision at Routes 201 and 3013 about 10 p.m. Nov. 12, in which a 12-year-old in the other vehicle suffered broken ribs. A senior district judge signed a warrant Tuesday for Jones’ arrest.

SOUTH STRABANE

Receiving stolen property charge: Michael Fitzhenry, 59, of Texas, was charged by South Strabane Township police with receiving stolen property following a disturbance at Motel 6. Police said they found Fitzhenry in possession of a firearm that was stolen from Gilmer County, Ga.

WASHINGTON

Assault charge: Thomas R. Wright Jr., 50, of 715 Banetown Road, Washington, was charged by Washington police with simple assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct following a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of May Avenue Monday night. Police said Wright allegedly kicked his girlfriend in the stomach before breaking household items. When police arrived, he allegedly pulled away from them and kept his arms from them. The officer said in the criminal complaint he “finally resorted to striking Wright in the side of the head twice and twice in the ribs.” Police said they found Wright in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a pipe. Wright was arraigned Tuesday morning by District Judge Jesse Pettit and jailed on a $7,500 percentage bond.

Theft: Mr. Tire Auto Service on West Chestnut Street reported to Washington police Monday over the last three months, 34 tires have been stolen from its inventory.

Terroristic threats charge: George Gatchell, 40, of 418 E. Maiden St., Washington, was charged by Washington police with terroristic threats and resisting arrest following an incident at his residence early Tuesday. Police said when they responded to his residence just after 1 a.m., Jennifer Horner had locked herself behind a door Gatchell was trying to break down. Horner told police she was afraid Gatchell would kill her. Police said Gatchell began to threaten and challenge police to fight. It took four officers to make the arrest. Gatchell was arraigned Tuesday morning by District Judge Jesse Pettit and jailed on a $7,500 percentage bond.
