CARROLL
Threat alleged: John Andrew Perza, 55, of 765 Soccer Field Road, Monessen, was charged by Carroll Township police with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct after he allegedly threatened to “shoot up” Monongahela Valley Hospital Tuesday. Police said the medical staff in the emergency department of the hospital reported about 10:30 p.m. Perza was “highly upset” with his mother’s treatment plan. Police said he threatened to get a firearm and “shoot up” the hospital. Several other patients and staff were witnesses to the threats, which put the emergency department on lockdown, police said. Perza was arraigned Wednesday morning by District Judge Jesse Pettit and jailed on a $75,000 percentage bond.

Drug charge: Russell Lookhart, 31, of 32 Horseshoe Drive, Roscoe, was charged by Washington County sheriff’s deputies with possession of drug paraphernalia Monday morning at his residence. Deputies said that when they arrested Lookhart on a bench warrant, they found 11 empty stamp bags in his possession.
WEST BROWNSVILLE
Trespass charge: A homeless woman was charged by West Brownsville Borough police with defiant trespass after police saw her vehicle parked in a Walmart parking lot Tuesday morning. Jacklyn H. Chiovetti, 56, who police said has been living in her car, has been banned from all Walmart properties.
