Washington County commissioners

- d to public safety, the county will be adding equipment to an existing tower in Charleroi; renovating a site; adding equipment to a tower in Washington Township, Fayette County; and signing leases with property owners in Carroll and West Finley townships.
The Allegheny County Industrial Development Authority, Pittsburgh, plans to refinance not more than $30 million worth of bonds with Residential Resources Inc., Residential Resources Southwest Inc. and Residential Resources Development Corp., which have been used to acquire, construct, renovate and equip rentals for clients of the Department of Human Services in several counties, including Washington. The refinancing will also cover acquiring and/or making capital improvements. The commissioners approved the part of the bond issue that applies to a Residential Resources Inc. project in Washington County. Solicitor J. Lynn DeHaven noted the approval includes no debt or pledge of Washington County funds.
At the request of the Children and Youth Services agency, the board approved a provider agreement with Westmoreland County Secure Detention Facility through June 30, 2019, at a daily rate per child of $293. No county funds are required.
On behalf of court administration, the commissioners approved an agreement with D&D Detailing to provide cleaning services at the Cecil Township office of District Judge Tracy McDonald through Nov. 14, 2019, at a rate of $400 per month.
