Two people were in Washington County jail following execution of a search warrant in Canton Township Wednesday.
The Washington County district attorney’s office said in a statement that investigators obtained the warrant as part of an investigation into the reputed distribution of heroin and fentanyl from an address in the 100 block of Dorothy Avenue.
Prosecutors said investigators seized “544 stamp bags of suspected heroin/fentanyl, drug paraphernalia” and an unspecified amount of cash during their search of the mobile home.
Apparent targets of the investigation are 34-year-old Preston E. Klages and Tiffany L. Sloneker, 32.
Klages was charged by county detectives with various drug offenses and jailed following arraignment before District Judge Curtis Thompson, who set bond at $10,000. Stonecker was jailed on a warrant for an alleged probation violation.
Prosecutors said they expected additional charges would be filed.

Police said they seized drugs, cash and cellphones during a raid Wednesday at a mobile home in Canton Township.
