Security guards wounded at after-hours club
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities say a dispute at an after-hours club in Philadelphia ended with two security guards being shot and wounded.
Four men who allegedly had “caused a commotion” inside the club early Saturday were escorted out by security guards. When the men refused to leave the front of the club, authorities say the guards walked the group to their cars and physically put them into their vehicles.
One of the men then pulled out a gun and started firing several shots. Both guards were hit by bullets, but their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Authorities say the men fled the scene after the shooting and remain at large.
The guards’ names and further details about the shooting have not been disclosed.
