House fire in Washington injures one person
A house fire in Washington injured one person Sunday afternoon, according to Gerry Coleman, the city’s fire chief.
Jolynn Paull, no age available, was removed from the home at 373 Burton Ave. about 12:30 p.m., and transported to Washington Hospital. She was later flown to UPMC-Mercy hospital in Pittsburgh. Her condition was not available Sunday night.
The cause of the fire was accidental, Coleman said.
Washington Fire Department was assisted by firefighters from North Strabane and Peters townships.
