CANONSBURG
Vehicle thefts: Several vehicles were broken into Sunday night into Monday morning in the borough. Two cars on East Pitt Street had two 12-round Springfield XD40 magazines and body spray stolen. Another car, in the 100 block of Vine Street, had a pair of work gloves stolen from it, and a car in the 500 block of Tannehill Street had a purse stolen from it. The purse contained several debit and credit cards and a Xanax prescription. One shed on East Pitt Street was also broken into, and a chainsaw was stolen.
CHARLEROI
Man jailed: William Wilson III, 31, of 115 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with theft and illegal access device use over allegations he stole $3,550 from H&R Block, 7 McKean Ave., through several transactions while working there this month, court records show. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
MONESSEN
Man jailed: Karron Dontavis Waller, 22, of Pittsburgh, is charged by Monessen police with making terroristic threats, harassment, simple assault, disorderly conduct, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. The charges stem from accusations he made threats to two females about 7:45 p.m. Friday that he would shoot up one of their houses in the 500 block of Rostraver Street over a $20 debt. Waller was placed in Westmoreland County jail on $15,000 bond set by District Judge Jason Buczak.
Drug charges: Robert Ivan Nicholson, 37, of 99 Pennsylvania Boulevard, Monessen, is charged by city police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. He is accused of having 40 stamp bags of heroin when officers went to his residence about 8:30 p.m. Nov. 21 to arrest him on a bench warrant. He was being held in Westmoreland County jail.
WASHINGTON
Aggravated assault alleged: Washington police said charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats will be filed against Dino Paul, a 59-year-old inmate at Washington County jail. Police said on Thanksgiving Day, Paul elbowed a jail officer in the shoulder after disobeying orders to sit on his bed. According to a police report, he also told the officer, “I hope you and your family die a painful death. As a matter of fact, I hope I see you outside because I’m going to choke you and your kids.”
Assault alleged: Washington police said charges will be filed against Richard Porter, 55, of East Walnut Street, Washington, after he allegedly threw a 37-year-old woman to the ground at his residence Saturday night. She was taken to the emergency room with possible broken ribs, police said.
Disorderly conduct charge: Zhenice Hasan, 18, of 100 Highland Ave., Washington, was cited by Washington police with disorderly conduct after police responded to Church Street Monday afternoon for the report of a fight involving about 15 people. Police said Hasan had been cursing and yelling in the street and refused police orders to stop yelling and go home.
