CANONSBURG
Vehicle break-ins: Multiple residents reported to Canonsburg police their vehicles were broken into from Monday night into Tuesday morning on Benton Avenue and Panorama, East Pitt and First streets. Residents on Arlington Drive reported items stolen from their vehicle, but police were able to recover a bag in the area that belonged to them. An antique camera and ultrasound photos were inside the bag. Police said they have a suspect, but he has not yet been arrested.
CANTON
Drug charges: Preston Earl Klages, 34, of 182 Dorothy Ave., Washington, was charged by Washington County Drug Task Force with 26 drug-related offenses after multiple police agencies raided his home Nov. 21. Klages was asleep in his home when officers from the task force, state police and the Washington County sheriff’s office served a search warrant at his residence. They said they found him to be in possession of more than 500 stamp bags of suspected fentanyl-laced heroin, along with other drug paraphernalia. Klages was charged with 12 counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
MONESSEN
Man wanted: Tyler James Winstone, 25, of 702 Lookout Ave., Charleroi, is facing charges filed by city police of simple assault and harassment over allegations he struck Labria Henderson several times in the face at her residence in the 100 block of Schoonmaker Avenue about 7:30 a.m. Nov. 21, court records show. A senior district judge in Monessen signed a warrant Wednesday for Winstone’s arrest.
NORTH STRABANE
Crash: Two people were taken to Canonsburg Hospital with injuries following a crash Monday morning at Route 519 and Chesnic Drive. North Strabane police said Nancy Frock, 79, of North Strabane Township, was driving south on Route 519, when she rear-ended a vehicle that had slowed to turn onto Chesnic. Frock was not injured, police said, but the driver of the other vehicle, Summer Sprowls, 29, of Canonsburg, and her passenger, Zachary Cholak, 31, of Canonsburg, both complained of neck pain and were transported by ambulance to the hospital.
