CANONSBURG
Woman grabbed: An 18-year-old woman reported to borough police she was walking on West Pike Street Sunday evening when a vehicle pulled off the street and someone behind her grabbed her by the shoulders. She said she ran away and wasn’t able to describe the person or vehicle.
Truck recovered: A man told borough police a Ford F-150 pickup belonging to his employer was stolen overnight Wednesday from outside his residence on Panorama Drive. The vehicle was found in West Mifflin, Allegheny County, by police there before it was reported stolen. The vehicle was reportedly undamaged, but the key was missing.

Pair wanted: Alexia Marie Shannon, 19, of 1000 Upper Crest Ave. Rear, and Jordan Lymondlyles Nixon, 22, of 45 Morgan Ave., East Washington, are charged by Charleroi Regional police with endangering the welfare of a child, court records show. Police accuse them of leaving their 10-month-old son alone in Shannon’s residence for at least 90 minutes within reach of a space heater set to high during the afternoon of Nov. 3. District Judge Larry Hopkins signed a warrant Monday for their arrests.

Gun, drug charges: City police filed charges Friday against Jon Ray K. Kennedy, 25, and Tyrique L. Jackson-Crosby, 22, of Aliquippa Avenue, Monessen. Police began watching the house Thursday based on a tip from a state parole officer who’d been tracking movements of Kennedy, who is reportedly on parole, and directed police to Jackson-Crosby’s residence. Police allegedly found “a sizeable amount of marijuana” and cocaine after stopping and searching Kennedy when he exited the house. Officers said they went on to search the house and found two safes allegedly contained four handguns, ammunition of various calibers, 155 doses of heroin, and several bags each of marijuana and Ecstasy, plus another bag of cocaine, a number of unused stamp bags, a digital scale and $979 in cash. Police charged Kennedy with drug possession and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Jackson-Crosby faces charges including illegally possessing a firearm, drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession, and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Both men were arraigned at the district court in Monessen. Kennedy was released on $2,000 unsecured bond. Jackson-Crosby was jailed in Westmoreland County on $25,000.
