Camera stolen: Patricia Orlowski of Crosby Drive told Canonsburg police Tuesday her Canon camera valued at $800 was stolen.
CHARLEROI
Woman arraigned: Christine M. Loughlin, 50, of Finleyville, is charged by a Washington Area Humane Society police officer with aggravated cruelty to an animal, court records show. Police accuse her of leaving a dog in a crate in a backyard where she formerly lived at 118 Luella Ave, Charleroi, causing it to become extremely emaciated by the time it was discovered about 11:30 a.m. Sept. 14. Loughlin, who had been wanted on a warrant, turned herself in Wednesday to District Judge Larry Hopkins. He released her on $2,500 unsecured bond.
Theft alleged: Michael James Russo, 38, of 300 Washington Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with theft and receiving stolen property over allegations he stole a cellphone from a woman about 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Lookout Avenue, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Wednesday by summons.

Fugitive arrested: Joseph Smith, 34, of 14 Spruce Way, Stockdale, was taken into custody late Tuesday by Roscoe-Elco-Stockdale-Allenport regional police at a store in Roscoe as a fugitive from justice. He was wanted on a warrant from law enforcement in Greene County, Mo. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail without bond, pending extradition to Missouri.

Theft, disorderly charges: Adam Andrew Snatchko, 46, of 502 Giffin Ave., Canonsburg, was charged this week by Washington police with theft and disorderly conduct after he allegedly stole a woman’s wallet containing $200 when she gave him a ride Oct. 2 on West Chestnut Street near Shaw Avenue. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Theft, receiving charges: Brandon Templeton, 32, of 1058 N. Main St., Washington, was charged Wednesday by Washington police with theft and receiving stolen property. He is accused of stealing a Honda sedan from a parking lot at 165 S. Main St. The car was recovered by South Strabane Township police during a traffic stop before it was reported stolen. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Two charged: Ashley Marie Knight, 35, of 123 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, and Joshua A. Ashbaugh, 33, of 685 Addison St., Washington, were charged Wednesday by Washington police with possession of paraphernalia after they allegedly were found with the items July 28 when police said they were spotted hiding behind a building at 720 W. Chestnut St. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
PFA violations alleged: Michael Carroll, 42, of 143 E. Wylie Ave., Washington, and Steven Loughman, 46, of Indiana, were charged Wednesday by Washington police with violating protection-from-abuse orders. Carroll is accused of violating an order Oct. 5, while Loughman is accused of violating an order Sept. 13.
Warrant arrest: Samantha Rae Thomas, 26, who has addresses on Broad Street and McClay Road in Washington, was taken into custody Tuesday by Washington police on a warrant obtained by police in Jefferson Hills, Allegheny County, charging her with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police were called to Shop ‘n Save, 125 W. Beau St., after she allegedly stole an item from the store. She was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail until she was transferred Wednesday to Allegheny County for arraignment. Thomas was then released on her own recognizance. City police will charge her with retail theft.
Window shot: John Ford of 170 1/2 May Ave. told Washington police early Wednesday his living room window was broken when it was shot.
Vehicle damaged: Tammy Hepple of 285 Brookside Ave. told Washington police Tuesday a tire was flattened on her vehicle and the trunk was scratched.
