DUNKARD

Single-vehicle crash: No one was injured when a driver lost control and hit a tree Friday night. Patrick R. Barnett, 24, of Maidsville, W.Va., was driving north on Dilliner Hill Road west of Mount Pleasant Road about 10:45 p.m. when he tried to negotiate a right-hand curve and drove through the opposing lane before hitting a tree, state police said.

FRANKLIN

Wallet taken from car: State police are investigating a wallet that was taken Wednesday or Thursday from a vehicle parked at Valley Farm Drive in Franklin Township.

MORRIS

Burglary charge: Andrew Wyatt Grim, 22, of 119 Wheeling Creek Road, Wind Ridge, was charged with burglary, trespassing and harassment from an incident Sunday. State police were called to 749 Patterson Creek Road just after 5 p.m. for an alleged protection-from-abuse order violation when the resident told troopers her former boyfriend drove to her home and left, according to court documents. Shortly after, Grim returned and entered the victim’s home uninvited before grabbing her and attempting to take her phone, police said. The victim was able to get out of Grim’s grip and he left, police said.

PERRY

Rear-end crash on interstate: Zachary F. Zemonick, 26, of Mannington, W.Va., and Toby G. Liston, 23, of Albright, W.Va., were both driving south in the left lane of Interstate 79 just south of the Mt. Morris exit at 6:37 p.m. Friday when state police said Liston abruptly slowed and Zemonick crashed into the rear of his vehicle. Neither driver was injured.
