FRANKLIN
Theft from vehicle: Lawrence Andrew Eddy, of 267 S. Franklin St., Waynesburg, was charged with theft from a vehicle and criminal mischief after state police said he cut the padlocks off a bucket truck and stole items inside at Greene Plaza in Franklin Township shortly after 3 a.m. Tuesday. Troopers stopped Eddy’s car shortly after and found items from the truck in his vehicle, police said. He was also charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license, according to court documents.
Jail assault: Chloe Ellen Jones, 22, and Larissa Sue Jones, 20, were each charged Wednesday with simple assault and harassment after state police said they assaulted another female prisoner Sept. 22 while they were being held at Greene County jail in Franklin Township.
