Youth football player flown to hospital after injury at Trinity

A youth football player injured in a game played at the Trinity Middle School field Sunday afternoon was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

The player was hurt in a game between fifth-sixth-grade teams from Washington and Albert Gallatin. Coaches from Albert Gallatin said their player sustained an injury to the neck or head and was likely transported as a precaution.
