Nov. 6 electronics collection restricted to Washington County residents

The Nov. 6 electronics collection at Washington Mall is restricted to Washington County residents only. Volunteers will be checking identification for proof of residency. Long wait times and temporary closures may occur when the event reaches capacity. The event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m.

Among the items that can be collected are computers, monitors and related equipment, Freon appliances, fluorescent tubes and CFL bulb and most household appliances. Only one television per car will be accepted. Damaged televisions will be charged a $50 hazardous handling fee. There is a $15 Freon removal fee.
