Firefighters on scene of Charleroi house fire

Six fire companies were called to the scene of a fire at a vacant building on Church Way, between Seventh and Eighth streets, in Charleroi. Washington County 911 said the fire at 720 Rear Lookout was reported about 3:30 p.m. Heavy smoke and flames were seen coming from the structure. The fire was extinguished in less than an hour.
