A Fallowfield Township man was injured about 2 p.m. Thursday when his motorcycle struck the rear of a vehicle that was stopped in traffic along Route 88 south near the entrance to Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Township.

A four-vehicle, chain-reaction crash occurred after a Fallowfield Township man was injured about 2 p.m. Thursday when his motorcycle struck the rear of a vehicle that was stopped in traffic along Route 88 south near the entrance to Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Township. Carroll police said Doug Moody, 56, was treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The traffic congestion from the motorcycle crash contributed to a four-vehicle accident, in which there were no serious injuries, police said.
