AMWELL
Two injured: Two men were injured Wednesday night when a utility vehicle towing an all-terrain vehicle ran off Alamae Lakes Road. Raymond L. Sharder, 49, of Amity, the driver of the utility vehicle, was taken to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, and the all-terrain vehicle driver, James M. Snoderly, 18, of Washington, was taken to Washington Hospital.
CALIFORNIA
Disorderly house charges: California police charged four people with violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance stemming from two incidents earlier this month. William John Hitman, 20, of Norristown, and Bradyn William Kail, 20, of Forest Hill, Md., were charged after a loud party Sept. 1 at 542 Second St. Hannah Brown, 18, and Danielle Nikia Perry, 32, both of California, were charged after the two were reportedly yelling at each other from the windows of apartments at California Manor, Second Street, Sept. 7.
CANONSBURG
Account accessed: Christopher Dunmeyer of Canonsburg told borough police Wednesday that two unauthorized purchases were made in New York City using his debit card information.
CECIL
Theft charges: Shantel (Arrington) Griffin, 31, whose last known address was in Verona, was charged this week by Cecil police with theft of services and theft by deception after she allegedly skipped out on a room bill at Hilton Garden Inn Aug. 26. Police said she booked and paid for two nights through Hotwire but wanted to extend her stay for a third night. She allegedly left without paying. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Traci McDonald.
Counterfeit money: Cecil police were told Thursday a counterfeit $10 bill and counterfeit $20 bill were passed this week at Subway on Route 50. The fake money was discovered when it was deposited at the bank. The bills were marked as movie props.
MONESSEN
Pair charged: David Allen Jackson, 28, of 205 Reed Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with aggravated assault and simple assault over allegations he burned an infant’s hand by placing it in hot spaghetti sauce and also struck the child July 11 in his residence, court records show. The child’s mother, Amanda Billion, 33, of the same address, is charged in the case with endangering the welfare of a child. Senior District Judge Herbert Mitchell Jr. signed a warrant Wednesday for Jackson’s arrest. Billion’s charge was issued in a summons.
Man wanted: Wayne M. Ezzo, 55, of 222 Lenewee Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with burglary, theft, trespassing and receiving stolen property, court records show. He is accused of breaking into a residence in the 1300 block of Summit Avenue and stealing $600 from Shawn Woodson about 6:50 p.m. Sept. 6. Senior District Judge Herbert Mitchell Jr. signed a warrant Wednesday for Ezzo’s arrest.
MT. PLEASANT
Driver charged: Tyler W. Cline, 20, of 210 Baltimore Ave., North Franklin Township, was charged this week by Mt. Pleasant police with endangering the welfare of children, driving under the influence of marijuana, false identification to police, possession of paraphernalia and traffic violations stemming from a Sept. 2 traffic stop on Avella Road at Skyline Drive. Police said he had a 14-year-old girl in the vehicle. He reportedly gave police a false name. He also allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana but would not submit to chemical testing. He was placed in Washington County jail on a probation warrant. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Traci McDonald.
SOUTH STRABANE
Rubbish deposited: A resident of the 200 block of Vance Station Road told South Strabane police Wednesday waste from a homemade beer operation was deposited on her property. Surveillance shows it being dumped from a newer, white utility van. The resident said the van was driven by an older white man wearing a green shirt.
WASHINGTON
Drug charges: Brennan Christopher Baggus, 26, of 34 Baggus Lane, Claysville, was charged by state police with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in February in the 800 block of Jefferson Avenue. Police said Baggus was a passenger in the vehicle and was in possession of a stamp bag of white THC crystals.
