Section of Kirby Road in Franklin Township to close next weekend

Kirby Road between Route 218 and Foly Road in Franklin Township will be closed from 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, through 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The road will be closed to allow utility work to be completed. A detour will be in place using Kirby Road and Route 19. Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com.
