Tools taken: State police are investigating the theft of items from a locked toolbox in a vehicle parked in the Bortz Chevrolet parking lot in Franklin Township between Sunday and Monday.
JEFFERSON
Theft charge: Lysandra Elizabeth Fischer, 18, of 152 Jefferson Way, Jefferson, was charged Thursday with theft and receiving stolen property after she was seen on surveillance footage taking about $10 from the tip jar at Golden Dragon Chinese at 989 N. Eighty-Eight Road in Jefferson Sept. 1, state police said.
