North Strabane hires parks and recreation director
North Strabane Township has hired a director of parks and recreation.
Supervisors hired Matthew Cunningham unanimously at their board meeting Tuesday.
Cunningham, who served as assistant director of parks and recreation in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, for four years, will begin his duties on April 22.
“I’m very excited about joining this great township and expanding upon the great things already existing here,” said Cunningham. “I’m excited to bring my experience to North Strabane.”
Cunningham will earn a salary of $50,000.
