Sexual abuse: State police in Waynesburg are investigating an allegation of sexual abuse of a minor. The abuse was reported to have occurred last summer in Dunkard Township, according to police.

Charges pending: State police in Waynesburg reported charges to be filed against James Gayman, 21, of Mather for possession of a prohibited weapon. Police said they arrested Gayman after responding to reports of a disturbance at a Monongahela Township establishment April 8.
