DONORA

Drug charges: Kristina Barnhart, 35, of Jeannette, is charged by borough police with illegal possession of 10 Xanax pills and drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 2:25 a.m. March 29 at Second Street and Allen Avenue, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued the charges Thursday in a summons.

PETERS

Prescription fraud alleged: Victoria Coote, 48, of 97 William Drive, Canonsburg, was charged with 31 felony counts of acquisition of a controlled substance by forgery and additional misdemeanor forgery charges by township police. According to the criminal complaint, Coote forged a doctor’s signature to obtain phentermine from the Giant Eagle Pharmacy at 4007 Washington Road on April 8. The complaint states that Coote admitted to forging prescriptions on 10 different occasions. Coote was arraigned Friday before District Judge Jesse Pettit and released from custody on a $7,500 unsecured bond.

ROSCOE

Theft charges: Nicholas Salvador, 25, of 1144 Brookside Drive, Greensburg, and Tierza Sezawhich, 22, of 927 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, were charged with felony theft, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy by RESA Regional Police Department. According to the criminal complaint, on April 3 the pair stole wedding bands and a credit card from a home at 57 Rebecca St. Both were incarcerated in Washington County jail and arraigned Friday evening before District Judge Robert Redlinger, who set bonds at $10,000.

SOUTH STRABANE

Assault alleged: David Robert Garcia, 44, of 216 SE Norwood St., Topeka, Kan., was charged with simple assault by township police. According to the criminal complaint, police were dispatched to a campground at 7 KOA Road at 5:27 a.m. Saturday. Garcia’s girlfriend reportedly told police he had struck her about 10 times with a closed fist over the course of a few hours. The complaint states she had marks on her face consistent with her account. Garcia was arraigned Saturday before District Judge Robert Redlinger and released from Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.

WEST PIKE RUN

Alleged assault, terroristic threats: State police charged Marc Wilkerson, 23, of 158 Essie St., Darlington, with simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct, and Edward Cursi, 47, of 123 Troy Drive, Greensburg, with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. According to the criminal complaints, Wilkerson assaulted his girlfriend Saturday evening at 62 Main St., though he claimed to police that she attacked him. Cursi, the alleged victim’s father, was talking to her via FaceTime and allegedly used racial slurs against Wilkerson while waving a pistol. A witness reported seeing Wilkerson and the woman “tussling” in the yard. Wilkerson was incarcerated in Washington County jail and was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger, who set bond at $10,000. Cursi was released after posting 10 percent of a $1,000 bond.
