Illegal operation charge: Chad Michael Jordan, 38, of 131 Alicia Main St., was charged by state police with illegally operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock and driving under suspension after he allegedly drove a vehicle into a ditch Saturday morning. Police responded about 7:15 a.m. to the intersection of South Eighty-Eight Road and Alicia Road, where Jordan allegedly had swerved to avoid hitting a deer and got stuck in a ditch. Illegal weapon charge: James Edward Gayman Jr., 21, of 220 Second St. Mather, was charged by state police with prohibited offensive weapon after he allegedly was found in possession of brass knuckles at the Top Hat Lounge bar on Route 21 April 8. Police said witnesses in the bar reported Gayman had caused a disturbance at the bar earlier that night, but returned just before 10 p.m. and refused to take his hand out of his pocket. Police said multiple witnesses believed Gayman to have a firearm in his pocket, before one patron tackled him to the ground and retrieved the brass knuckles. One witness told police Gayman had been upset because he lost his glasses and fell down a hill. Gayman allegedly told police that he had the knuckles because “it was too difficult to obtain a concealed carry permit for a firearm,” the criminal complaint said.

Police said Drew told them she had ingested methamphetamine. Police said they found a small baggie in her purse with meth residue in it. Police said while they were putting her in an ambulance, Drew started swinging her arms around and struggling against police. At the hospital, police said Drew was yelling profanities and causing a disturbance.

Resisting arrest charge: Labrea Lynn Kisner, 24, of 148 W. Greene St., was charged by borough police with resisting arrest and public drunkenness after police said they found her lying unresponsive in the grass near the curb of East High Street and Montgomery in Waynesburg. When police woke her, she allegedly told them that she was “taking a rest,” according to the criminal complaint. Police said she appeared to be intoxicated, so the officer told her she wasn’t free to leave. She tried to walk away from police and started screaming, police said, before officers used force to detain her. Police said EMS evaluated her, but she refused treatment.
