Shots fired: Richard Lindsey, 23, of McKeesport, is charged by city police with reckless endangerment and simple assault over allegations he fired about six gunshots in the air near houses in the 500 block of Park Manor Road about 9:30 p.m. April 17, court records show. A senior district judge remanded him last week to Westmoreland County jail on $5,000 bond.

Drug arrest: Amy Sue Yost, 48, of 5 Pearl St., Carroll Township, is charged by city police with possessing 23 does of prescription medicine belonging to someone else and a small amount of cocaine stemming from a traffic stop about 5 p.m. April 19 in the 500 block of Rostraver Street, court records show. She is free on $5,000 unsecured bond.

Drug arrest: Darin B. Balliard, 47, of 2029 Route 88, Union Township, is charged by township police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police said he had a large amount of cocaine, numerous doses of xanax and $2,941 during a traffic stop about 7:10 p.m. April 19 at Vernon Drive and Rolling Hill Farm Drive. He is free on $1,000 bond.
