Vehicle fire closes I-70 west near W. Va. border

A vehicle fire closed the west bound lanes of Interstate 70 for a portion of Tuesday afternoon near the West Virginia border.

According to PennDOT, the trailer caught fire between exit 1 for West Alexander and the West Virginia state line.

Washington County 911 said it was a tractor- trailer, and that no other vehicles were involved.
