A person was flown to an area hospital by helicopter Thursday following a single-vehicle accident in Canton Township.

A Washington County 911 supervisor said the crash in the 300 block of Armstrong Drive was reported around 1:42 p.m. Fire and emergency medical personnel were on scene, along with state police.
