Heroin arrest: James Anthony Donaldson Jr., 30, of 650 Braddock Ave., Monessen, is charged by the state police drug law unit with four counts of drug possession with intent to deliver and two counts each of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Donaldson is accused of selling a confidential informant working with investigators four bundles of heroin on separate occasions in early 2017 on Utah Avenue. A senior district judge released him Thursday on $4,000 unsecured bond.
Assault alleged: Molly Carter, 24, of 638 Reed Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief, court records show. Police accuse Carter of using a long handle from a garden tool to break a front window out of a house at 412 Pearl Ave. and also strike the resident, Milton Sander, in the head about 3 a.m. Feb. 2. A senior district judge issued the charges Wednesday in a summons.
WASHINGTON
Theft charges: Tina Marie Lilley, 48, and Robert N. Lilley, 48, of 271 Locust Ave., Washington, were each charged by city police with theft after they allegedly took $350 from a woman to rent a nearby apartment that they had no authority to rent. The woman and the actual landlord of the apartment at 265 Locust Ave. reported the alleged theft to police Jan. 29, after the woman had inquired about moving in.
