CUMBERLAND
Trespassing: Annamarie Mikalik, 62, of 33 Nemacolin Way, Carmichaels, faces charges of burglary, criminal trespassing, defiant trespassing and harassment after Cumberland Township police said she rushed into a home in the 200 block of Woodside Manor in the township where her estranged husband was and caused a disturbance inside the residence Feb. 1.
DUNKARD
Burglary charges: State police charged Brittany Rachelle McBee, 29, no address, with two counts each of burglary and criminal trespassing Feb. 8 after troopers said she entered two residences in the 300 block of North Moreland Street in Dunkard Township.
FRANKLIN
Assault charge: Kyle Tracey Gray, 24, of 258 Greensboro Road, was charged by state police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly punched a man in the face twice Feb. 8 while at Tommy Boys Tavern, 120 Bill George Drive, Franklin Township. Police said that just before 2 a.m., Gray struck the other man once inside the bar, before allegedly following him outside, where he punched him again, breaking the man’s nose.
JEFFERSON
Drug charges: Jeremy Wayne Curtis, 35, of 204 Prison Road, Waynesburg, is facing drug charges after state police said they found him unconscious behind the wheel of a car parked in the middle of Spotted Pony Road in Jefferson Township with a heroin needle in his hand Oct. 6. Curtis was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and two summary traffic violations. When police woke him, he allegedly told them that he had shot up two bags of heroin while driving. Police said they found six empty stamp bags in the vehicle, along with packets containing a mix of heroin and fentanyl. Police said Curtis’ blood tested positive for morphine, fentanyl and other narcotics.
MORGAN
Theft charge: James Michael Kennedy, 34, of 265 Rinehart Ave., Waynesburg, was charged with theft by state police after he allegedly stole his mother’s old license plate from her Morgan Township home and used it on his vehicle without permission last week. Kennedy’s mother told police she started getting parking tickets and hearing notices for her previous license plate. Police said Kennedy admitted Feb. 8 to taking the license plate.
PERRY
Drug charges: Brandon Michael Brumley, 26, of 2656 Smith Creek Road, Waynesburg, was charged by Greene County Regional Police with selling a controlled substance, firearms not to be carried without a license and making illegal repairs to an offensive weapon following a traffic stop at a Perry Township gas station May 23. Police said Brumley was a passenger in the vehicle and was found to be in possession of a handgun and eight packets of methamphetamine that were packaged for sale and stored in an Altoids container. Brumley allegedly told police that the gun belonged to his father, whom he told he was borrowing it for target shooting. Brumley’s co-defendant and the driver of the vehicle, Travis Areford, 27, of Waynesburg, was charged in June with carrying a firearm without a license, driving on a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance and sale of a controlled substance. Police said Areford also had a gun in his possession that day, along with a bag of crystal meth.
WAYNESBURG
Terroristic threats: Heather Powell, 53, of 176 E. Lincoln St., Waynesburg, was charged with two counts each of terroristic threats and reckless endangerment after borough police said she threatened two people in her apartment with knives and said she would kill them Feb. 9. She was also cited for disorderly conduct.
Drug charges: Amanda Danielle Mitchell, 33, of 52 W. Greene St., Waynesburg, was charged by state police with possession of a controlled substance after police served a warrant at her house nearly a year ago. Police said they were at Mitchell’s residence March 19 to serve her with a warrant for access device fraud when they found a prescription bottle in her bra. She allegedly told police that it was her prescription for Xanax, but police said the label was in someone else’s name.
