CANTON

Assault charge: Danneker Alan Keith, 44, of 970 W. Wylie Ave., was charged by state police with simple assault and harassment following a domestic disturbance at his residence Saturday night. Police said he allegedly pushed his wife to the ground, giving her a bloody lip and nose.

Drug charge: Jessica Rene Chronister, 33, of 127 Devils Den Road, Burgettstown, was charged by state police with possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct following an incident Feb. 4 near Imperial and Monterrey avenues. Police said Chronister was walking with a man who had warrants against him. Police said they found a syringe, needle, shoelace tourniquet and other paraphernalia in her pocket.

CENTERVILLE

Assault charge: Gina Nicole Koon, 22, of 215 Malden Road, was charged by Centerville police with simple assault and harassment following a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 400 block of Spring Street. Police said Koon struck a man in the head with a ceramic spoon rest, leaving a 4-inch laceration on his head.

CHARLEROI

Drug charge: Joseph Michael Forsythe, 32, of 109 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with illegal possession of nitrous oxide, releasing toxic substances and public drunkenness, court records show. Police said Forsythe was taken to Mon Valley Hospital after nearly passing out from the drug at a fast-food restaurant at 318 McKean Ave. about 6:15 p.m. Saturday. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Tuesday in a summons.

Crash leads to charges: James M. Bongiorno, 57, of 35 Barcelona Lane, Dunlevy, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with causing an accident involving injury, driving with a suspended or revoked license and driving under the influence of alcohol, court records show. Police said a passenger in his vehicle, Cynthia Sims, suffered serious injury when the vehicle struck a utility pole head-on at Lincoln and Fallowfield avenues about 10:25 p.m. Dec. 6. The charges, filed Tuesday before District Judge Larry Hopkins, will proceed through Washington County’s DUI court.

Woman charged: Bobbie Jean Nicole Pratt, 32, of Forest Hills, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with illegal possession of Xanax and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 1:25 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of McKean Avenue, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Wednesday in a summons.

DONEGAL

Criminal trespass charge: Sara Elizabeth Matheny, 36, of Bretz, W.Va., was charged by township police with criminal trespass and receiving stolen property after she allegedly entered a property in the 900 block of Old Brick Road on Feb. 15. Police said a resident at the house heard his dog growling and a knock on the kitchen door. He retrieved his pistol and saw a woman enter his house. She asked him not to shoot and told him that she had run out of gas and was just looking for help, according to the criminal complaint. Police said the man watched her as she walked back to a truck across the street. When police investigated, they discovered the truck was reported stolen out of Preston County, W.Va.

NORTH BETHLEHEM

Drug charges: Kenneth Charles Schultz, 26, of 156 Mong Road, was charged by state police with possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after Children and Youth Services visited his residence earlier this month. Police said a child living at the residence told a CYS worker Feb. 7 that there were drugs in Schultz’s bedroom. Police said they found a metal grinder, smoking devices, two needles and 21 wax paper bags used to package drugs in a dresser.

WASHINGTON

Drug charges: Louis Joseph Fonagy III, 32, of Lawrence, was charged by state police with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident Oct. 19 in the parking lot of Family Dollar on East Wylie Avenue. Police said they saw a passenger in a vehicle slumped over in a car. When police approached the vehicle, they said they saw Fonagy injecting a substance into the bottom of his foot. When police knocked on the window, they said Fonagy immediately dropped the needle. Police said they found in the vehicle a bundle of stamp bags of heroin, two syringes and a glass smoking device containing suspected marijuana. The driver, Megan Elizabeth Peacock, 25, of 173 E. Wylie Ave., Washington, also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Simple assault charge: Brian Kelley, 36, of 806 Adelaide St., Pittsburgh, is being charged with simple assault after allegedly striking his girlfriend, Kiona Campbell of Washington, with a broom handle on Feb. 11.

Theft charges: Michael Petrola, 38, of Charleroi, is being charged with theft and theft by deception after he allegedly was paid in 2018 by Sherri Fiedler of Washington to remodel her business at 57 W. Chestnut St. Petrola never finished the work he was paid to do, police said, and allegedly said he would return Fiedler’s money, but never did. Charges have been issued by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

False report charge: Desiree Powell, 33, of Washington, is being charged with making a false report after allegedly telling police Feb. 8 that she had been shoved around and threatened by a man with a pistol in the 200 block of Locust Avenue. However, a witness stated that a verbal altercation took place, but it did not turn physical. The charge has been issued by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Drug charge: Aaron Poole, 49, of Washington, is being charged with possession of crack cocaine after it allegedly was discovered in his car Feb. 2 during a vehicle stop at Hall and Walnut streets in Washington. The charge has been issued by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Drug charge: Justin Somerville, 21, of Washington, is being charged with marijuana possession after police say a freezer-type bag of the drug was discovered in the crotch of his pants during a Jan. 18 traffic stop at Canton Avenue and Fayette Street. Charges have been issued by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
