Sunny Bridge beaming over 17 years in Peters
A sunny weekend is planned at Sunny Bridge Natural Foods & Cafe.
The store, which specializes in natural and organic food and products, will celebrate its 17th birthday Friday and Saturday. In-store activities will include product sampling, vendor demonstrations and giveaways. There also will be a 20 percent storewide discount.
Sunny Bridge is off Route 19 in Peters Township. The address is 130 Gallery Drive, McMurray 15317.
Local vendors slated to be on hand are Bombash & Earley CBD Balms, Siliski Soaps, Swope’s Berries and Bees (honey), P3 Grain Free and Fenix Fit Bars.
“Celebrating 17 years in business is not possible without the support of our local vendors,” Sunny Bridge owner Gina Snyder said in a news release.

listings up
Home sales and sales prices dipped in Western Pennsylvania last month compared with January 2018, but listings jumped, West Penn Multi-List Inc. said Monday in its monthly residential real estate report.
George Hackett, president of the local Multi-List and of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services, Pittsburgh, preferred to stress the positive. He said in a statement: “The inventory of homes for sale in our region is at a healthy level. We started the year on the right foot for buyers, with plenty of homes from which to choose.”
Multi-List statistics show that:

- Closed sales were down 2.62 percent (1,672 units from 1,717);

- Closed sales volume fell 5.68 percent ($297,697,928 from $315,627,525);

- The average sale price dropped 3.14 percent ($178,049 from $183,825);

- Home listings increased 11.68 percent (2,581 units from 2,311).

Realty firm moves into ex-music store
The Bethel Park building that had been the longtime home of Armen’s House of Music has been repurposed.
Sue Schmitz, owner of Vintage Real Estate LLC, purchased the structure at 5920 Library Road (Route 88), had it completely remodeled, then relocated her firm there.
Schmitz launched Vintage Real Estate in 2002 on Valleybrook Road, Peters Township. The company’s services include buying, selling, renting, investment properties and property management.
Armen’s Music sold and repaired instruments and arranged lessons.

Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services has earned a Platinum Award, the highest level of performance presented to principal brokers.
Cartus Broker Services, a global network specializing in employee relocation solutions, named Coldwell Banker a winner. The residential real estate brokerage company will receive the award at the Cartus Broker Network Conference March 17-19 at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
