The office of District Judge Jesse Pettit in McMurray, Peters Township, will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, beginning Jan. 7, according to the Washington County court administrator’s office.

The office will be closed for a lunch hour on Mondays from 2 to 3 p.m.

Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, with a closure from noon to 1 p.m.

The district also encompasses Nottingham and Union townships and Finleyville.

The district judge’s office in the North Strabane municipal complex will have regular hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., closing from noon to 1 p.m., on Mondays through Fridays.

Wednesday evening hours at the office have been discontinued for this year due to the retirement of District Judge Jay Weller.

The former Weller office covers East Washington and North and South Strabane townships.
